Chart notes
BOTTAS brushed the right side of the gate and raced towards the back half of the pack between the inside and two path then tipped out three wide in the upper and circled VITRUVIAN MAN passing the three sixteenths marker and closed up from the outside of the leader to prove best. CONDUCTED shifted up to the lead at the break and set the pace while coming to the inside along the rail, then drew off heading into the upper and was clear a couple lengths from the pack but was caught and outfinished in the final sixteenth by BOTTAS and settled for the place award. FUZZBUSTER broke sharp and was placed at the front of the pack and decided to stalk the pace from the two path coming around the hill then kept on but couldn't gain on the leader and finished evenly in the stretch holding the show award. TOUCH OF FIRE was bumped by VITRUVIAN MAN and broke towards the back of the field and shifted up quickly up the hill into the mid-pack coming along the inside and steadied at the top of the hill after getting into position and being slightly bumped by KHOZALITE, then angled out nearing the three sixteenths to be about seven wide and showed some late kick just getting up for the minor awards at the wire. STREET BEAST was up close early after the break and settled back a couple lengths to track the pace, coming three wide and shifting to the two path heading down the hill then came out about five wide passing into the upper but flattened out in the stretch. VITRUVIAN MAN bumped into TOUCH OF FIRE at the start and was forwardly placed tracking the pace along the inside around the hill then weakened slightly in the upper and recovered but needed kick in the stretch. TURF STAR was void of any early speed settling off the pace along the inside then crept up the rail heading down the lane and improved in the stretch making a mild gain. GO FOR ROCKET settled back early heading up the hill and was placed towards the back of the pack in the three path turning towards the bottom then tipped out six wide into the upper and improved mildly. MR. A. P. ran in the mid-pack through the early stages of the race coming about three to four wide around the hill then settled back nearing the bottom of the hill dropping a couple lengths behind it's original place and swung out widest heading down the lane and made a slight gain in the stretch. PROTON raced in the mid-pack four wide around the hill and kept on heading into the upper while drifting slightly outwards but faded in the final furlong. INFILTRATE raced in the center of the pack from the three path and tipped out coming off the bend turning towards the upper then had to steer out following a rival passing the three sixteenths but had no kick in the final furlong. BRAVE FORCE settled back shortly after coming up the hill and was off pace in the two path then had a slight bobble passing the half mile marker and tipped out entering the upper but made no rally in the stretch. KHOZALITE raced mid-pack from the two path early coming up the hill and bumped with TOUCH OF FIRE coming around the top of the hill then weakened after entering the upper and faded into the stretch. BLACKMAIL broke outwards and advanced early into the mid-pack coming five wide around the hill then weakened slightly and was floated out to the ten path nearing the final furlong.
