Chart notes
MOENCHANTED broke alertly, showed the way into and through the first turn in the two path, rated in the run up the backstretch, remained clear through the final turn while still in hand, enough left through the lane to hold the runner up safe. CLASSIC EMBRACE lacked speed while toward the inside early in the first turn, moved to the rail late in that bend, continued back while saving ground into the far turn, shifted out a bit for the drive, steadily getting to the winner late while running out of track late. FERN SPIRIT along rail first turn, steered out and moved closer to the leader in the three path late in that bend, chased in the run up the backstretch, could do little with the top two late while saving the show. QUEEN BERKELEY void of early foot while along the inside, moved closer in the two path through much of the far turn, dropped in and followed the runner up into the stretch, steered out approaching the furlong marker, finished up evenly while slowly closing the gap for the third spot. KATERINI bobbled at the start, raced back off the pace four wide, continued outside and was four wide through the second turn, failed to muster a response in the drive. SISTER SAINT five wide into the first turn when well back, never involved. SPEAKING OF ART floated out to be four wide toward the front late in the first turn, remained within striking distance three wide into and through the final bend, tired through the stretch.
