Chart notes
COMPETITIVE SAINT alternated for the lead inside then edged clear in the final furlong. MACAW dueled eventual winner outside to mid-stretch and was outfinished in the final furlong. MIDLANER raced off the pace outside and made a gradual late gain. YOUNG SQUIRE broke sluggishly, chased inside then flattened out in the stretch. TWENTYEIGHTTOTHREE was asked for run three wide on the turn and faltered. BIAGIO raced just off the pace outside and began fading on the turn. COBBLE ROAD dropped back into the far turn and had no response.
