Chart notes
TRIPLE SECRET dueled on the lead from the inside, took command approaching the quarter pole, drifted three wide while edging clear in upper stretch and held off the closer gamely in the late goind. COURAGEOUS ARI reserved off the pace through the turn, saved ground angling to the inside and rallied well up the fence to just miss in a good effort. SPARKLING SILVER tracked the leaders into the turn, rallied four wide on the bend to loom boldly at the top of the lane and failed to sustain the bid in the lane. SHAUNNASAPRILFOOL set the early pace under pressure, vied for the lead to midway on the turn and weakened coming home. SWEET LILIBET failed to menace. GOTHAM GRAY chased the leaders from the inside to midway on the bend and faded from contention.
