Chart notes
JOHN DUTTON set a well rated pace on a comfortable, well measured lead controlling throughout, responded to repel bids and held safe convincingly. CALVIN'S RIDE stalked the pace to the top of the lane and rallied well in the stretch to be second best. BIG VINCE prompted the pace down the backside, rallied to challenge on the bend, was turned away by the winner and ran-on through the lane. CERTAIN raced mid-pack failing to menace. CITY TRIPPER was one-paced failing to threaten. MACKENZIE'S NOVVA was not a factor.
