Chart notes
MISS NIGHTFALL (GB) settled just off the inside at the tail of the field, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, rallied outside rivals to issue a challenge inside the final furlong, seized command a sixteenth out and edged away to the finish under a vigorous hand drive to score. ACCENT (GB) settled tracking the front just off the inside from mid pack, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and angled five wide into upper stretch, rallied to issue a challenge a furlong out, took brief command inside the eighth pole before being displaced a sixteenth from home and ran on to secure the place honors. MAJAZ (GB) tracked the leader in closest aim from the two path, got let out angled four wide into upper stretch, took over command straightened away, dug in under threat and was collared inside the eighth pole, then kept on to preserve the show honors. CANDY MOONSHINE a bit fractious in the gate prior to the start, got coaxed from the gate and showed the way in hand along the inside, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to run, spun just off the inside into upper stretch under threat and yielded straightened away, then weakened in the late stages. TWO MARTINI'S got brushed at the break by LADY RIVER LILY, tracked the pace along the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths pole, spun three wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late going. LADY RIVER LILY broke out a step at the start brushing the aforementioned foe, raced a bit rank off heels along the inside past the stands and then unsettled and a bit keen under restraint through the first turn and into the backstretch, settled midway, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and spun three wide into upper stretch, then tired in the drive.
