Chart notes
BEFUDDLED sped clear leaving the chute, set the pace towards the inner rail, denied an outer threat from PARIS BY NIGHT entering the stretch, spurted back away and proved best under a drive. PARIS BY NIGHT , bumped at the break, prompted the pace from the outside, threatened the winner entering the stretch, was unable to match strides but kept on with good effort to be clear of the rest. ASHLEY H , bumped and squeezed back at the break, regrouped and edged up off the inside, shifted towards the inner rail for the drive and finished with interest. WHACKY WITCH , bumped at the break, chased inside, angled three wide leaving the three sixteenths, falied to go on past the sixteenth pole and faded. PELICAN PIER , sluggish from the gate, lagged off the pace, raced two wide mid turn and failed to generate a serious response. BANGKOK BLAZE , four then three wide chasing, failed to kick on in upper stretch and faded. ENGAGE AT WILL , bumped from both sides at the start, was outrun.
