Chart notes
PURPLE OCTOPUS was never far back, raced outside, went wide in the drive, closed with a rush and wore down BERNIE LOMAX to get up in the final strides. BERNIE LOMAX moved up inside, vied to the turn, drew clear entering the stretch, led to the final strides and was outfinished. COG was void of early speed, angled in at the top of the stretch, closed inside and got up late for show. DANZA TAXI vied between horses, dropped back leaving the turn, hung late and was caught for show. MANNY'S KAT was outrun in an even effort. SPANISH DOUBLOON vied three across, swung wide entering the stretch and gave way. WHISTLEWHILEYOUMOW raced mid pack, had nothing left for the drive and faded through the stretch.
