Chart notes
JESSE raced in close pursuit of the pacesetter, engaged the leader on the turn then edged clear through the stretch. BONAFIDE broke alertly and set the pace inside, was hooked midway on the turn, resisted then weakened. PARTY WITH SMARTY lacked speed inside then closed well for the show. SHALLUS dropped back at the start, advanced in the two path and continued willingly. ZOPPI FISCHBEIN was put to urging three wide on the turn then flattened out in the final eighth. BATTLE ANTHEM flashed speed initial quarter mile and gave way. CHAIN LIGHTNING was shuffled back and taken up at the start and trailed throughout.
