Chart notes
MERLIN MONROAN bumped between rivals then shuffled back at the start, unhurried and trailed to the turn, rallied outside of rivals to upper stretch, closed with a rush from the seven to eight path to the final sixteenth, sustained his rally in deep stretch and won going away. REMEMBER THE TIME bobbled at the start and slow to begin, settled three wide to the turn, moved up to be well placed four wide nearing the half-mile marker, bid to upper stretch then led at the furlong pole, dug in to the final sixteenth, couldn't hold off the oncoming winner and held for the place. GRANTCHESTER settled mid-pack then saved ground into the turn, raced a bit greenly and climbed nearing the half-mile marker, angled out to upper stretch, rallied to mid-stretch, vied between rivals from the five to six path into the final sixteenth, got outkicked in deep stretch and just missed for the place, while well clear for the show. APEXION vied for the early lead from the outside, contested the pace two wide into the turn, battled between runners to upper stretch then chased into the final furlong, couldn't find more in deep stretch and yielded to the top three late. MAKING IT RAIN bumped with MERLIN MONROAN leaving the start, settled in the second flight heading into the turn, was well placed to the half-mile then asked three wide to upper stretch, vied between foes approaching the furlong grounds, couldn't sustain his bid to the final sixteenth and weakened late. BURRATA vied for the early lead from the inside, took back to the turn then was well placed while saving ground approaching the half-mile marker, shifted off of the rail and chased to upper stretch, was outrun to the furlong grounds and gave way. GENERAL TOM vied for the early lead between runners, contested the pace inside of APEXION heading into the turn, dictated terms to the half-mile marker then battled to the quarter marker, couldn't find more approaching mid-stretch and tired in the drive. BEETHOVEN off a bit slowly and green in the early stages, settled and saved ground to the half-mile marker, kept an inside path to the quarter marker, shifted out for the drive but failed to factor late. HARWICH PORT veered in and crowded rivals leaving the start, settled between runners to the turn, coaxed two wide approaching the half-mile then asked three wide nearing the top of the stretch, was outrun to the quarter pole then trailed the rest of the way.
