Chart notes
BLARING AMBITION was off slow at the break and trailed the field five wide around the hill then came under encouragement passing the five sixteenths before tipping out a bit in the upper and rallying into the stretch, then drew ahead in the final furlong and closed up, easing through the last yards after proving best. SALTY VIKING saved ground along the inside towards the back of the pack and stayed on the rail entering the upper before angling out six wide passing the five sixteenths pole while making a late kick and just got up for the place award but was no match for the winner. BRAVO TANGO was bumped at the start then dueled briefly for command, taking it towards the top of the hill from the three path then shifting to the inside after making enough room, stayed to the inside in the upper and dueled with JUNCTION heading into the final furlong but was passed by two other opponents while winning it's duel for the show award. JUNCTION tracked the pace early on from the inside then raced three wide around the hill tipping out just passing the three furlongs marker and shifted up dueling with BRAVO TANGO in the stretch but was passed up on the outside by two other rivals while focused on it's duel and was outfinished. VERY HAPPY was very reluctant loading into the gate then raced towards the back of the field in the two path and continued on keeping position in the upper, but lacked a bid in the stretch. SAILOR'S DREAM bumped with BRAVO TANGO at the start then sent for the pace got to the inside then dueled with that same rival at the top of the hill but was rated back while tipping to the two path, then continued on pressing down in the upper but faded in the stretch. MANDALAY hit the left side of the gate while breaking towards the back and raced on about four to three wide between rivals around the hill but made no rally in the stretch. EL ENAMORADO was a step slow at the break and raced at the back of the field in the five path on the outside of it's foes then made a brief bid heading into the upper but faded shortly after. ZEE R ONE settled back around the hill coming five wide and creeping into the four path but made no bid after entering the upper. HOECAKES was off slow at the break and got distanced early on heading up the hill then eased up finishing well behind the field.
