Chart notes
GASOLINE broke back, settled well off the pace while racing toward the inside, angled out and advanced into contention far turn, challenged three wide and between horses midway on that bend, dueled into and through much of upper stretch before drawing away in the final furlong under firm handling. FEELTHEBEAT forwardly placed from the start, vied three path first turn, continued to set or force the pace three wide, dueled inside the winner after moving in a bit second turn, yielded to that one the final furlong, lasted for the place. KINGSCOTE fell back to trail after the start, asked along far turn in the two path, advanced through that bend to reach a forward position upper stretch, continued to close the gap on the runner up late, not a threat to the winner. BAG OF GOLD four wide into the first turn, worked way to the rail, moved closer up the inside before a half, remained within striking distance before stalling through the second turn, went evenly through the stretch. ROCKALL broke on top, narrowly showed the way into and through the first turn in the two path, headed before a half, continued to vie while between horses into the final bend, weakened. MORO MAFIA void of early foot while rank first turn, moved out, four to five wide second turn, picked off couple of tiring rivals while never a threat. TEJAS five wide when off the pace through the first turn, moved closer while still in the five path into the far turn, gave way in the four path turning for home. SILVER REDESDALE prompted the issue up front while four wide through the first turn, remained within striking distance for over four furlongs, faltered in the far bend.
