Chart notes
MISS JONES trailed for half mile, advanced wide, collared the leader in mid-stretch and was just up in a long drive. J RIVERS controlled the pace inside, challenged in mid-stretch and battled gamely to the wire. AMBITIOUSLY PLACED bid outside on the final turn then weakened in the stretch. CHELSEA WALL squeezed back at the start, saved ground early, moved wide on the final turn and lacked a rally. C C GIRL prompted the pace outside for five furlongs and gave way. UMBRAL flashed speed inside to the far turn and stopped abruptly. MORE RANSOM was ordered a late scratch at the gate on the advice of the track veterinarian. A claim of foul by the fourth finisher against the third finisher for interference at the start was dismissed.
