Chart notes

JUST JANE raced four to five wide down the backstretch, then three-wide through the turn, came back out to the five path for the stretch run, closed in steadily and was long in time. JENNYS TAMALE showed good speed from the outset but ceded to a pair of rivals before the turn, came out four wide, gained an advantage in the upper stretch, but couldn't hold off the winner in the final yards. W F PARADOXE was off a step slow, then lost the path a few yards from the gate, settled off the pace, had to be coaxed along some through the turn, swung five-wide, could not quite get to the top pair but finished willingly to gain the minor award. REMARKABLE ME pressed the early pace two-deep, took command approaching the quarter pole, opened up in the stretch, but failed to change leads and faltered. BERNLET raced four-wide under a drive from the start, came out seven-wide for the stretch run and lacked a late response. PERFECT STYLE dropped to last before the turn, swung five or six wide into the stretch, but was never a factor. HARLAN'S BOO sent hard from the start, got a head in front past the seven-sixteenths marker, then weakened near the quarter pole and had nothing left for the stretch run.
