Chart notes
SOUTHGATE GATOR led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and dug in gamely to the wire to hold the win. WESTDAKOTA bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, chased the leaders up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and gained ground late but just missed. THIRTYNINE TIMBERS bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, settled off the pace on the rail through the opening quarter, saved ground around the bend and improved position in the stretch. SHANCES R pressed the pace on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and weakened in the lane. RISKY BOURBON raced off the pace on the outside early, came around the turn in the three and four path and never threatened. TANGOS MISCHIEF tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, bolted out on the turn, entered the stretch in the seven path and was empty from there.
