Chart notes
CAUGHT OFF GUARD raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the turn and kicked clear in the lane. LIGHTNING STRUCK pressed the pace on the outside through the opening quarter, took over the lead while saving ground around the turn, dueled in upper stretch and chased the winner home late. NORTH ARM BAY tracked the pace setter on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and kept on to the finish. LACE UP raced in the middle of the pack around the first turn, dropped back to trail the field up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and showed no kick. ARJUN FOR KARZ led the way on the inside early, dropped back while saving ground around the bend and continued to tire from there.
