Chart notes

BELLY DANCE closest to the leader, came in a bit to tighten the runner up with a half mile to run, idled through the turn inside that same rival, moved to the rail and challenged along the inside past the furlong marker then proved determined late to narrowly prevail. SHE STOPPED SHORT off the pace while along the rail early, bothered when put in tight briefly along the inside with four furlongs remaining, quickly recovered and moved off the rail, advanced and took over the second spot midway on the bend, continued to move forward and collared the leader exiting the turn, put a head in front in upper stretch, continued to hold a slight advantage inside the furlong grounds, outkicked by the winner in the final strides. BLUE OPAL restless in the gate, last away while being bothered slightly, continued to lag through the turn just off the inside, lodged a rally while steered out a bit, closing the gap on the top two late while outside pair while too late. U AIN'T THAT LUCKY broke in to bother BLUE OPAL a bit, settled off the pace, swung out five wide turning for home, failed to muster a closing kick. E COMPLICATO broke alertly, quickly sprinted clear, continued to show the way for over three furlongs, gave way when headed entering the stretch. FOLLOWING A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER OF THE RUNNER UP AGAINST THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE LATE BACKSTRETCH, THE RESULT WAS ALLOWED TO STAND.
