Chart notes
PORTER'S PRINCESS sent for early speed, saved ground while showing the way through the backstretch, responded to a threat from CHASING DAYDREAMS, and held under a late drive. CHASING DAYDREAMS broke outward leaving the gate, stalked the pace while three wide, loomed boldly near the quarter pole, kept on gradually while under heavy urging, and missed. SUNDAY RAIN dropped back leaving the chute, sat in the five path through the backstretch, angled in to be two wide in the final turn and gave best late. POP DIVA lagged early, and offered a late mild bid. BLUE APPLE SEVEN hustled away but was gapped, was wide in the final turn and closed late. FOX END tracked outside, fanned four wide leaving the backstretch, and came up empty in the drive. BENZENE stalked four wide, was through early and stopped.
