Chart notes
LONG LEGGED LUIS was nudged up to the inside of foes to take the early lead then clear, set the pace towards the inside, dug in when confronted mid turn, was scrubbed along two wide maintaining command into the stretch, spurted back clear under solid handling in mid stretch then steadily edged away. MAKE IT QUICK prompted the pace outside the winner, moved alongside while under asking past the five sixteenths, sparred into the lane, failed to match strides past the three sixteenths but kept on with good energy to be clear of the rest. VENETO reared up at the break and was away last, regrouped and moved up between foes nearing the half, chased four to five wide into the stretch but lacked a serious response in the final furlong. UNCLE ZEB , tapered in early, saved ground chasing into the stretch and churned on. HARD STANCE hopped slightly at the break, raced five wide outside runners heading to the half, dropped in to the two path and faded.
