Chart notes
ADERO , alertly taken to the inner rail leaving the backstretch, remained along the rail, took command inside DERBYNESS in upper stretch and drew away under energetic urging. DERBYNESS assumed the early lead, was kept in the two path on the turn, finished well but was no match for the winner. SHAFT'S BULLET stalked the pace along the inner rail, eased out to the three path at the head of the stretch and weakened. ZERO BLITZ raced between horses on the backstretch and turn, angled out bumping with POWER GRID in upper stretch and weakened. POWER GRID chased outside horses, was five wide turning for home and gave way after bumping with ZERO BLITZ in upper stretch. WORCESTER , a forward factor outside horses leaving the backstretch, gave way on the turn. UNION FLEET hugged the inner rail around the turn and was not a factor. TOP MANIPULATOR , outrun, steadied in close quarters mid way on the turn.
