Chart notes
RAGING INFERNO stalked the leading group in the five path around the first turn, chased along the backstretch, split rivals going into final turn three wide, took the lead just after the quarter pole and won going away. WHYNOTANOTHERONE brushed outer rival twice going into first turn, vied between in four path, ranged up to leader two wide on far turn, passed by winner and fought for place through the stretch. HOOSICK FALLS vied inside rivals in the three path into clubhouse turn, extended lead on backstretch, on rail through final turn and was passed by rivals, but tried through the stretch to just miss second. KING OF SUCCESS was in the four and three path on first turn, trailed leading group, advanced inside a rival in the two path on second turn, angled into the five path exiting the turn for home, but failed to sustain bid. DISILLUSIONED was along rail into first turn, trailed, stayed on rail through second turn, and made little impact in stretch. SAGUNTO brushed inner rival twice going into first turn, vied outside in five path, began losing ground on second turn and fade in the stretch.
