Chart notes
PERMAFROST was forwardly placed up the backstretch, came under a ride late on the turn, hustled along entering the head of the lane, took over the lead nearing the furlong marker, widened advantage under firm handling and held sway. CLUB MESQUITE tracked the early pace, launched a three wide bid near the quarter pole, sustained response down the lane and gained second best. MORNING CUP set a pressured pace two wide up the backstretch, held clear around the turn, got headed by the winner in upper stretch, ran on and secured a share. BIG COMMERCE sat back through early stages, hustled along three wide into the lane and had a mild improve. ROCKIN BOOTS raced in the back, swung three to four wide into the lane and failed to threaten. MR NEGATIVITY pressed the pace up the backstretch, flattened around the turn and continued to tire in the drive.
