Chart notes
RED ROMANCE raced in contention but lacked a clear path along the rail, cut the corner entering the head of the lane, continued to lack room, angled two path a furlong out, split foes late and held on. HOLIDAY HOUSE raced in range up the backstretch, was set down four wide for the drive, vied four deep past the the sixteenth pole and just missed. JESTER SANG was forwardly placed in early stages, raced three wide in aim for the late lead and lacked a closing kick. RUN FOR GOLD dueled inside up the backstretch, held a slim lead late on the turn, continued with a slight edge a furlong out then yielded late. FIFTY FOUR YARDER was never far off the early leaders, chased three wide into the lane and failed to kick on. HERE COMES BRAYLON dueled for the lead up the backstretch, kept close around the turn then tired in the drive.
