LOW STANDARDS was unhurried, moved up three-wide nearing the quarter pole, offered a bid nearing the eighth pole, dueled with LIGHTNING SPEED from that point and prevailed under strong handling. LIGHTNING SPEED saved ground setting the pace, responded when challenged by LOW STANDARDS and held on gamely to the wire. SWEET KYLIE raced in the back of the field, came four-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. BUCKEYE MIKE tracked LOW STANS racing two-wide to the stretch and weakened.
