Chart notes
SHANE FALCO hopped at the start then moved up to set the pace while saving ground, responded when challenged by BAYTOWN ANNIE at the quarter pole and maintained a safe advantage. BAYTOWN ANUBIS tracked SHANE FALCO racing two-wide, moved up to offer a bid nearing the quarter pole but was unable to match strides with SHANE FALCO during the drive but held on well for the place. AMERICAN BEAR saved ground while being reserved, came three-wide into the stretch and rallied late. PALAGIO was allowed to settle, moved forward on the far turn, came two-wide into the stretch and went evenly late. WHITE BLUE was forwardly placed racing along the inside and weakened. SPUNS SON settled in the back of the field, came three-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. STRIKE PRICE saved ground racing in the middle of the field and tired. ORA CERTA was unhurried racing two-wide and gave way during the drive.
