BIG HUG stalked the leaders racing three-wide, moved up to take the ;lead from WE THE FRINGE at the quarter pole, dueled with that one to the eighth pole and drew clear late. WE THE FRINGE vied with SEATTLE STING for the lead, shook that one off nearing the three-eighths pole, responded when headed by BIG HUG at the quarter pole, battled with that on to the eighth pole but was unable to stay with her late while proving to be second best. SEATTLE STING vied with WE THE FRINGE for the lead from along the inside, dropped back nearing the three-eighths pole, came three-wide into the stretch and weakened. H K MIMI saved ground while being unhurried, came two-wide onto the stretch and failed to seriously threaten.
