Chart notes
MANUKA HONEY tracked the leading trio from the four path while nibbled along into the turn, was roused within striking range at the three furlong pole, chased while stalling progress on the embattled leading pair entering the lane yet sustained her bid to gain even terms at the sixteenth pole and drove past. SCARLETT BEGONIA vied for the lead two wide and between horses, then only with her outer counterpart while remaining a path off of the inside turning for home, battled neck and neck with that one into the final furlong, but got outkicked by an outer bidder at the sixteenth pole then saved place. MISS ANNA prompted three deep, vied with a single inner rival while kept in the three path turning for home, dueled neck and neck through midstretch but got outkicked by an outer rival entering the final sixteenth then missed the bob for place at the wire. STRIPE SHOW lacked speed in the two path, swung out to the six path into upper stretch and stayed on mildly. BETTY SUE leaned outwardly after breaking slow, raced off of the pace in the three path, forged fourth at the five sixteenths pole but lacked further progress and tired. FOR THE WIN broke a beat slow, lacked speed in the three path, fanned out to the seven path into upper stretch and failed to factor. PIERETTE vied for the lead with an outer pair down the backstretch, but gave way with three furlongs to go, caved and was eased through the lane.
