Chart notes
WE GOIN stalked the pace, rallied five wide entering the stretch, assumed command. BROWN SUGAR BETTY was unprepared at the start and was off slowly, advanced along the rail to the turn, bid off the rail between horses into the stretch, closed to earn place and was no threat to the winner. DONCELLA stalked the pace, went six wide entering the stretch, was in range, lacked the needed late response and settled for show. TAKE CHARGE SONIC vied to the turn, weakened and faded through the stretch. ROYAL MIST was never far back, went seven wide entering the stretch, had nothing left and dropped back. HAPPY ENCOUNTER broke slowly, was hustled along, taken outside and was outrun in an even effort. CAN AM WINNER set a pressured pace to the turn, tired and gave way. ITS MY DECISION was off very slowly, fell far back and was not urged. BLUSHING JACKIE showed little and was eased. TUVANA was declared a non-starter. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY TUVANA FAILED TO LOAD IN THE GATE BEFORE THEY BROKE AND WAS LATER DECLARED A GATE SCRATCH.
