Chart notes
TITAN took command shortly from the gate being encouraged slightly early to get the lead, set a pressured pace down the backstretch, dueled with the runner-up on the bend surrendering the lead, came on again in upper stretch to re-gain the upper hand and prevailed in a determined drive in a game effort. SPY NOVEL pressed the pace to the far turn, rallied to take the lead on the bend, was out-gamed in the lane by the resurgent winner and held on for the place willingly. DIMANCHE GRAS stalked the dueling pacesetter to the final bend, was put to an early drive as those two slipped away and continued to rally with a late gain in the final sixteenth. LAS OLAS slow early to be the trailer for the first half mile, closed the gap to midway on the turn and flattened out finishing evenly. BLUE SLIDE PARK tracked the leaders for a half mile and faded from contention on the far turn. HONESTO chased the leaders from the inside on the backstretch, failed to respond when called upon entering the final turn and dropped to the rear.
