Chart notes

ALPHABETICAL ORDER bobbled slightly leaving the gate, quickly recovered and dueled outside INSTINCT D'ORO briefly before taking control leaving the backstretch, edged away while two then three wide to the stretch and safely held off chasers under steady handling. THE BIG CHEESEOLA prominently placed early, stalked three wide into and around the bend and was along late for the place. TOPSTITCH tracked place from the inside then was two wide exiting the turn, angled out further nearing eighth marker and gained show honors. INSTINCT D' ORO was off quickest, briefly contested the pace from inside the winner, forced the issue around the turn, remained inside in the drive before weakening some late and losing placing. ALPINE THUNDER chased while bit off the rail, continued two wide to the stretch, came out slightly in upper stretch then drifted out further in late stages while no threat. SUMMER HAZE widest early, chased four wide then angled in some early on the turn, came back out in upper stretch and lacked stretch response.
