Chart notes
GOLDEN CITY STREET within striking distance along the inside first turn, moved closer after a half, challenged between horses far turn, shook clear into the lane and was not threatened to the wire under steady handling. SEDALIA TRAIL stalked the pace from the three path first turn, continued in a forward position up the backstretch, challenged outside the winner second turn, proved no match for that one in the drive, clear of the others. NOT BEHAVIN back off the pace and the inside, moved closer to be in the second flight in the second turn, stalled into the stretch, late run to be up late for the show. DEVILISH DO GOODER behind the pace while saving some ground in the first turn, continued inside, raced in some traffic late in the second turn, came in the two path for the drive, lacked a significant closing response when clear for the drive. CLASSIC SENSATION off slowly, raced back off the pace while four wide through the first turn, continued outside, moved closer into a striking position while once again four wide in the second bend, failed to sustain that advance through the lane. BALANDEEN STORM three wide in the first turn when with the main body, moved and and saved ground through the final turn, went one paced in the stretch. SAINT RONIN settle in the second group while off the inside, two to three path in the second turn, had little for the stretch drive. DAWSON JAMES in the main group just off the inside early, continued back, made little impact through the stretch. DRYCREEK GOLD off slowly, lacked speed while five wide into the first bend, angled in a bit late in that bend, four wide up the backstretch and through the final bend, picked off a few tiring rivals while never a threat. THE DUKE OF DELHI off a step slow, remained always back. CAHILL'S LEGACY took control soon after the start, showed the way for. HUISACHE was finished after a half, jogged in.
