Chart notes
LANDING FORCE pulled a bit in the early stages, set the pace racing with a comfortable lead, showed the way on the far turn, responded when roused entering the stretch, drew off to a long lead under urging and was in hand late. MUSTBETHEMUNNING hit the gate at the start, raced off the pace inside, moved up between rivals passing the quarter pole, bobbled and steadied entering the stretch, then angled out and rallied outside for second. HOWITZER was off a bit slow, raced off the pace, two wide on the backside, chased three wide on the far turn, rallied mildly and was outfinished for the place spot. MATTY B GOOD raced two wide off the pace, chased two wide on the far turn and closed belatedly inside. I'M GOING CRUISING broke outward, raced off the pace with an inside trip and had no rally. GIANT GROOVE settled off the pacesetter, chased on the far turn and tired. STEVEWILLDOIT was off a bit slow, trailed the field, moved up three wide on the backside, chased three wide on the far turn and tired.
