Chart notes

NO MORE DING DONGS dueled from outside, three deep past the three-eighths pole, kicked clear in upper stretch and was ridden out in the final furlong. NIJINSKY HALO raced up close from outside, traveled four then five wide on the turn, lost the crop past the eighth pole and got up for second. OTRO MAS stalked the top pair to the turn, bid along the rail at the three-eighths pole, put a head in front at the five-sixteenths pole, yielded to NO MORE DING DONGS in upper stretch and got edged for second. GYPSY TEARS coaxed along early from out of range, angled to the inside, gained from the fence on the turn and flattened out in the late stages. CATHAL (IRE) trailed from well off the rail then angled into the three path entering the turn, shifted over to the two path, moved out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. PROJECT LEADER dueled from inside, drifted out a bit early on the turn, lost command fighting between rivals around the turn, failed to kick on at the quarter pole and faded to last.
