Chart notes

BAYOU TIME off the pace while saving ground, crept a bit closer into the final turn, steered out three wide turning for home when under a drive, late burst to nail the two leaders at the wire. BERNDT MARSHMALLOW closest to the leader in the two path first turn, continued to chase up the backstretch, advanced and engaged that same foe midway on the final bend, long duel to the wire, held a narrow advantage late, missed while between horses at the wire. GARY P broke in, was straightened to show the way into the first turn, rated in the run up the backstretch inside, continued to hold the advantage into the far turn, responded when challenged soon after, dueled into the stretch, headed nearing the furlong grounds, continued on with good determination and proved stubborn to the end to miss. ALOTLIKECHOCOLATE broke in the air, raced back early as a result while three wide through the first turn, continued back, angled in a bit to be in the two path into the lane, improved position to the wire with some mild interest, no real threat to the top trio. RECOVERY MAN brushed the gate at the start, raced back and between horses outside the winner first turn, continued one paced the middle half while dropping to the rail second turn, continued evenly through the straight. GUITAR MAN behind the pace off the inside, continued three wide second turn, had little left for the drive. SAILOR SLEW broke a half beat slow, raced four wide through both turns when back off the pace, tired through the stretch.
