Chart notes
DURATION controlled the pace inside, repelled nearest challenger then extended his lead under a moderate drive. SOUPER TUSCAN broke slowly, rushed to contention, yielded late and proved easily second best. LASSO saved ground off the pace, angled out in the stretch with mild bid. BIG BOYS ANSWER trailed along the inside, moved out on the turn and was no factor. CHARBONNAY was urged off the pacesetters and gave way in the stretch. RIPPED dropped back four wide down the backstretch and faded. MAGIC WALLET chased three wide and stopped then was eased in the final furlong.
