Chart notes
ALL ABOUT ME brushed with outside rival away from the gate to be in tight, was unhurried to be the trailer into the turn, rallied turning for home circling five wide and closed well through the lane to be along in time. LADY HAMILTON tracked the leaders into the turn, closed ground with a steady advance on the bend, rallied to the lead leaving the eighth pole and was caught late in a good try. RED HOT SPARK brushed with the winner leaving the gate to be at the rear, was reserved down the backside, rallied to contention on the turn to be well placed and finished with good interest while unable to match the top pair. FLOAT AWAY set the pace under early pressure, kicked away on the turn, battled when engaged in upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. RUNAWAY BREEZE was well placed along the inside down the backstretch tracking the pace, failed to respond when called upon on the turn and finished evenly. AFRICAN ANGEL was one-paced failing to threaten. WATERLOO SUNSET pressed the pace early and gave way on the turn to drop to the rear.
