Chart notes
NATION'S HONOR chased the pacesetter while racing along the inside fence, was guided off the rail into the stretch to take aim, rallied under pressure and wore down his chief foe despite racing on his left lead down the stretch. SCULPTOR edgy in the starting gate, dueled for the lead in the early going, pulled away on the turn and was reeled in late while racing on his left lead. SOUR TAMARINDO settled well, advanced while five wide on the turn, went six wide into the stretch and offered a bid. JULAND raced in striking position while four wide and lacked a rally. CODE OF COLORS outpaced early, entered the stretch three wide and showed some mild late interest. MIDNIGHT MINISTER was always outrun. SPIRIT OF TROY very awkward at the start costing him early position, saved ground, was urged to improve on the turn and made no impact. GAIL'S GLORY never menaced.
