Chart notes
SIR TRISTAN fractious in the gate, broke a bit outward, was straightened and moved up to press the leader exiting the chute, continued to apply pressure in the run up the backstretch, took over late in the bend, drew out steadily through the lane while being kept to task. WEITZMAN in the second flight while widest up the backstretch, angled in to be three wide while between horses through the turn, set down for the drive, no threat to the winner, rallied to up for the place. BUTCHY BOY in the second group while coming off the inside early in the turn, roused exiting the bend, displayed some mild late interest to be up for the show while between horses at the wire. GARNET JUBILEE broke alertly, showed the way out of the chute, held a narrow advantage into the turn, could not keep up with the winner entering the stretch, chased, weakened late to lose a couple of positions. READY SHOES one paced while racing outside, raced four wide through the turn, went one paced through the lane, lacked closing kick. PURE MALICE fell back to trail, three wide into the stretch, failed to rally. CLEMENTS RIDE off a step slow, trailed throughout while racing toward the inside.
