Chart notes
BLURT showed good early speed along the inside, dug in through the drive and finished determinedly under all out pressure. DU MONDE prompt the early leader two deep from the outside, long drive with Blurt and finished gamely to the wire under all out pressure. SKIPPER'S PRIDE stalked the pace, had an inside run and not enough for the top pair. FIRST SHOT FIRED settled off the early going, raced four wide into the upper stretch and had no response. PROVE WORTHY trailed early, raced two wide near the quarter pole, swung out five wide into the upper stretch and had no late rally. Internal fractional times were unavailable due to timer malfunction. Official race time was hand timed.
