Chart notes
AMERICAN SURFER was away alertly, set all the pace and drew off to be well clear under a steady hand ride. PREACH TEWMEY NOW pressed the pace from the inside, kept on but was no match for the winner. LADY BLAST dropped back early, had an inside run and moved up to improve position. TURMALINA stalked the pace, raced two to three wide and had no final bid in the drive. FLAMING MAMA chased the pace from the inside and tired. LIGHT MY FLAME dropped back early, raced two to three wide through the far turn and never was a factor. LUNARA failed to menace. Internal fractional times were unavailable due to timer malfunction. Official race time was hand timed.
