Chart notes

SATURDAY'S GOLD pressed the leader from the outside in the run up the backstretch, continued to pressure that one through the turn, challenged nearing midstretch, put a head in front with a furlong remaining, enough left to hold off the runner up in the final strides. CLARESTOWN in the second flight while racing in the three path, moved a bit closer outside the dueling leaders late in the turn, lost some ground to stall a bit in upper stretch, late push outside, not enough in the final strides to miss. EYE WITNESS broke on top, set a pressured pace up the backstretch and into the turn, dueled late in the turn and into the stretch, yielded to the winner, past the furlong marker, saved the show late while giving ground grudgingly to the top pair. WAYLON'S GUITAR behind the pace while just off the inside, continued to track turn, in some traffic behind the leaders with a quarter remaining, went evenly through the lane when clear. CHASING THE RUSH last away, fell further and further back, four wide into the lane, jogged in.
