Chart notes
NOT FOR LONG (GB) was void of early speed and tucked in into the first turn, saving ground much of the way then altered six wide into the stretch and rallied through the lane to get up in the final strides. TIME IN MOTION was allowed to settle early then circled the field while five wide on the turn and led into the stretch before battling through the long drive with NOT FOR LONG (GB) and was caught on the wire. TRAVELIN raced close up early with a three wide trip and chased into the lane and was gaining late to catch SOLAR HORIZON for the show position. SOLAR HORIZON got away alertly and set the pace then was headed on the turn but dug in and was all out into the stretch before giving way late. AMERICAN VETERAN was rank and keen to go early then settled and stalked the pace before looming to contend on the second turn but flattened out into the stretch. VERY ROYAL was allowed to settle and saved ground early then angled five wide into the stretch and made a mild bid. NEVILLE rated in the second flight early then was urged along nearing the 1/2 pole but dropped back into the turn and made no rally late. SAUDIMAN broke inward then rated in the middle of the pack with a rail trip early but dropped back into the second turn and was eased through the wire but walked off after the race.
