Chart notes
EASTBOSTONBENNY was hustled along to set the pace with a clear lead and just lasted at the wire. SIR GEORGE chased the pace, swung wide into the stretch, closed steadily, was gaining late and just missed. COCKEYED bumped at the start, lagged early in an outside trip and finished well to earn show. SKILLIAN saved ground, bid along the rail on the turn and lacked the needed late response. PATERNO was never far back, failed to rally and was outrun. TRUST FUND bumped at the start and was outrun in an even effort. OVERSPENT saved ground to the turn, lacked a bid and showed little.
