Chart notes
MISTER MOBIL angled in towards the rail entering the clubhouse turn, rallied four wide through the second bend and upper stretch to make the lead before the furlong marker then drew clear under left handed urging to win going away. SAMMY'S SMILE had no room along the rail behind the winner entering the firs turn, trailed early, closed willingly outside rivals through the stretch and got up for second. WATCHOUTFORWEAVER pressed the pace along the inside for four and one half furlongs, made the lead, set the pace into the stretch then was outfinished. GOLDSTRIKER failed to menace. CLEVELAND POWER drifted out to the five path shortly after the start, set the pace well off the rail through the first turn, set the pace past the seven sixteenths pole while two wide then gave way in the stretch. DRILL'S BOY was no factor. INTO GOLD carried out to the six path soon after the start, hung wide through the first turn, pressed the pace three wide down the backstretch then gave way in the lane. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF SAMMY'S SMILE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE ENTERING THE FIRST TURN. ALSO THE RIDER OF INTO GOLD LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF CLEVELAND POWER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE ON THE FIRST TURN. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS UPHELD THE ORIGINAL ODER OF FINISH.
