Chart notes

CONMAN dropped back in the two path early, settled well off the pace, saved ground on the far turn, swung out to the four path into the stretch then moved further out, rallied to make a bid outside the furlong marker, took the lead at the sixteenth-pole and prevailed under strong urging. A LITTLE AT FIRST stalked the pace on the outside in the three path, moved closer in the three path on the far turn, made a bid near the quarter-pole, took a short lead while coming out some in upper stretch, drifted out around the furlong marker, led until just before the sixteenth-pole then was headed by the winner and outfinished while able to hold the place. CABLE READY was rated just off the pace on the inside, drafted along the rail on the far turn, waited behind horses into upper stretch, was asked near the three-sixteenths pole and finished with good courage to just get the show. INSPEIGHTOFCHARLIE raced in the three path on the first turn, settled towards the rear, moved from the inside to the two path late on the far turn, came into the stretch in the three path, moved further out around the three-sixteenths pole and improved with late energy to just miss the show. SMOOTH BREEZE remained out in the six path around the opening dogleg, settled off the pace, went around the far turn in the three path and lacked the needed response. THE PADDOCK PASTOR went around the turns in the four path and failed to rally. TERMINAL VELOCITY went to the front, showed the way on the inside, was asked on the far turn, lost the lead into upper stretch and gave way. MO TRUMP raced in the four path on the first turn, settled off the pace, was roused in the two path on the far turn and failed to respond. MIZTERTONIC was caught out in the five path on the opening dogleg, settled on the outside, dropped from the five path to the two path late on the far turn and also failed to respond. SHARED SUCCESS raced in the five path on the opening dogleg, was rated off the pace, went around the far turn in the the two to three path while asked and came up empty. JAXER bobbled at the start, prompted the pace on the outside of the leader in the two path, was asked on the far turn, dropped back in upper stretch and tired. STRAIGHT ARROW was fractious in the gate, remained out in the seven path around the first dogleg, settled on the far outside, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, went around the far turn in the three to four path and capitulated.
