Chart notes
MIGHTY NORA rated in the second flight early with a four wide trip then made a steady advance through the turn and sustained that bid in the stretch, holding sway at the wire. CAROL'S MELODY rated in the middle of the pack early and tucked in to save ground then waited through the turn before making a rail rally to get up for place. MISS ELLE stalked the early pace then made a bid between horses at the 1/4 pole and battled into the stretch but was no match for the top two at the wire. SHIPS INN got away alertly and set the pace, leading the field through the turn then was headed at the 1/4 pole and gave way late in the stretch. BELLE OF THE BARN was void of early speed before being urged along into the turn but had no response in the stretch. FULL DOLLY got off slowly and showed no speed while losing contact with the field early then saved ground but was never a factor. IN FOR A SPIN raced close up early with a rail trip and chased for a half mile then faded in the stretch.
