Chart notes

LUCKY MISCHIEF was squeezed back shortly after the start then settled before circling while seven wide into the stretch and sustained the rally through the wire. WAR OFFICER was void of early speed and saved ground then slipped through along the rail mid-stretch and rallied late for place. BALTIMORE HEART rated in the second flight early then steadied at the 7/8 pole and waited behind the pacesetters before making a rail bid at the top of the stretch and was gaining late. FRANZ JOSEF got away alertly and assumed command then opened up on the lead into the second turn before shortening into the stretch and drifting out near the 1/8 pole then gave way late. CHARGE FOR GOLD raced close up early while running off the rail and chased the pace then made a bid between horses into the stretch but was outfinished. SUGOI ranged up early and stalked the pace then was urged along nearing the 3/8 pole but lugged in late in the stretch while showing some late run. OVERSTATEMENT settled along the inside early then waited into the stretch before angling to the five path and was asked between horses but was shut off when SUGOI lugged in late in the stretch and had to check just prior to the wire. FRIAR NEWTON rated in the second flight early then made a six wide bid on the second turn but flattened out in the stretch. BIG TO DO rated in the middle of the pack early with a four wide trip then was ridden along into the second turn but made no rally late. BATTLE CALL was squeezed back after the start then settled early before ranging up while eight wide at the 1/4 pole but faltered in the stretch.
