Chart notes
ROCK OF AGES broke sharp, quickly seized control of the tempo around the first turn, ridden out leaving the quarter pole, held sway gamely. JUST A WIZARD bobbled at the start, hit the brakes between runners nearing the half mile marker, bold move between rivals approaching the quarter pole, quickly angled over to the rail around the far turn, chased on inside through the final sixteenth. MILITARY GRADE broke slow, circled the field five wide around the far turn, under an all-out drive nailed a fading TUP'S TO TAKE, up in time for the show. TUP'S TO TAKE broke alertly, chased the swift pace three wide into the far turn, under pressure and running on the wrong lead, faded through the final stages. ESPRESSO steadied inside leaving the club house turn, regained momentum shuffled between rivals nearing the quarter pole, tipped out five wide into lane, had no late punch after a very eventful journey. CANDY MAN CAN raced well off the pace four wide, came up empty. EL RABANO saved ground well off the pace, had no late response. MUNICIPAL hustled up into the first turn, pressed inside down the backside, losing ground shuffled off heels leaving the quarter pole, weakened through the stretch. CHARLIE HUSTLE chased the pace around the first turn, faltered from the quarter pole.
