Chart notes
GRACE REFORMED was urged from the break to gain forward position racing well off the rail, settled about mid-division up the backstretch, advanced past the half moving between foes three furlongs out, was urged past the five-sixteenths, finally bid for the lead in mid-stretch and drew clear. CRUISE MISSILE was caught four then three wide into the first turn, stalked the loose leader from off the rail, was carried five wide leaving the far turn, loomed a threat in upper- to mid-stretch but was only second best. CYNTHIA GAIL quickly moved clear and shifted in to set the pace near the inside, faced challengers in upper stretch coming out a bit to meet those rivals, proved no match but kept on and held third. LADY EMILY KATHRYN settled close but off the leaders racing inside saving ground through the first turn, advanced past the three-eighths, shifted out three wide coming to the quarter pole, was asked for more soon after, ran on evenly in the stretch and just missed show honors. MILES OF SMILES bobbled slightly at the start, was forwardly-placed stalking two to three wide early, floated out a bit leaving the far turn, failed to rally in the stretch. WOW LUCKY appeared to bump with a rival and was in tight at the start, settled along the inside at the back, saved ground both turns, advanced mildly then ran on evenly late. ROWSIE EXPRESS was carried wide heading into the first turn but took back and shifted in saving ground the rest of that bend while racing in the back half of the field, continued from just off the rail on the far turn, ran on evenly in the stretch. SPANISH GIRL was carried six wide into the first turn shifting inside a rival on that bend, raced far back off the pace, went between foes two then three wide past the half, failed to menace. AMY MULE bobbled and was squeezed back at the start, settled outside at the rear two to three wide, was forced outside rivals through the far turn moving out from four to six deep, passed tired rivals in the stretch. YOU KNOW ME was in behind runners heading to the first turn and moved out five wide entering that bend, raced well back but ahead of some up the backstretch shifting in a bit to go between three deep into the far turn, floated five wide leaving that bend, was not a factor. SISTER SUPREAM was up close but forced three to four wide in the early going, chased up the backstretch racing off the leader and second group, floated wider leaving the far turn and came up empty.
