Chart notes
SMART EDGE was forwardly placed up the backstretch, vied outside of BEE A CYCLONE around the turn, cleared command at the head of the lane and drew off convincingly. BEE A CYCLONE cleared the lead soon after the start then came under pressure approaching the half mile marker, vied inside eventual winner around the turn, could not match strides at the head of the lane, ran on and cleared second best. CHANGE OF WATCH raced near midpack in early stages, saved ground around the turn, hustled along near the inside through the lane and secured a share. GRAVE ROBBER was ridden two to three wide around the turn, sustained a bid in two path into the final furlong then lacked closing response. DONT MESS WITHBLUE was forwardly placed going by the half mile marker, was trying to get out around the turn, came in and ran on three paths wide in upper stretch then gave way. FALSE START raced in the back, bore out on the turn and retreated.
